CABAL Estates produced on clay and fragmented limestone soils in North Waipara
CABAL has been owned and operated by the Clifford family for over 20 years and has provided grapes to winemakers in Waipara, North Canterbury ever since. After taking over from his father in 2015, Edward has produced CABAL’s very first vintages in collaboration with Theo Coles (Hermit Ram). CABAL Estates first Pinot Noir was produced in 2016 and the pair have continued making delicious and naturally made small-batch wines annually ever since. Each vintage has stayed true to the characteristics of regional wines, made with handpicked grapes.
