2015 was an all-time great vintage in Bordeaux, so to have a Médoc Cru Bourgeois at this price is crazy good. Rich, elegant and oh so smooth.
Laurent Beuvin was not from a family of winemakers, but set out on his own project in Médoc, at the very far reaches of the region, close to the Atlantic, in 2006. Each year he just makes two wines, both a blend of the classic left-bank red grapes (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Petit Verdot), with both wines ageing in barrel for at least 15 months.
