The sort of wine you can afford for your every weekend drinking, but tastes like a "treat wine", such is the quality and value for money. Great structure, lovely balance, just an all-round banger.
Laurent Beuvin was not from a family of winemakers, but set out on his own project in Médoc, at the very far reaches of the region, close to the Atlantic, in 2006. Each year he just makes two wines, both a blend of the classic left-bank red grapes (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc & Petit Verdot), with both wines ageing in barrel for at least 15 months.
