Côteaux Varois Rosé Magnum 2019 by Château Trians. Rosé in Magnum, what can be better? Three different grapes make it into this Rose, 70% Grenache, 20% Syrah and 10% Cinsault. Machine harvested and then manually sorted to ensure grape quality.
For the Côteaux Varois Rosé, the juice spends a little time on its skins to get the soft colour and has three months time on lees. This adds texture and palate weight. Fresh fruit aromatics upfront, raspberries and strawberries in abundance. Bone dry but ripe fruit with a lick of cream. Long and scented and balanced. The cool thing about rosé is that it's so versatile. Nail it with food, without food, at the beach, in front of the fire, it's all good!
